A bit about Sam…

Passionate, Collaborative, and Ambitious are just three words I like to apply to my work. With a foundation of animation, cultivated at Falmouth University, I have honed my skills and tricks to achieve the highest quality of work possible. Work that, most importantly, the team and I are proud of.

With a true passion for light and how the tool can be used as a motivation tool, I am proud to showcase a portfolio of work as a Director, DoP and art director. Featuring films like Fishing Bait, Love Penryn and my graduate film Misdeed.

Drawing upon a background in sports, I approach filmmaking with a collaborative ethos and love to encourage the team with as many rubbish jokes and smiles as possible. I believe this ultimately leads to the highest quality of work from all team members involved.

My ultimate fulfilment comes from witnessing audiences engage with and thoroughly enjoy my films. The connection between my work and its viewers drives me to push the boundaries of my craft. I strive to make my name known in the world of Stop-Motion - so keep an eye out!
